Necessity. For over thirty years I tried to write this as a chronological autobiography or memoir and was never satisfied with the outcome. That is until I imagined, Mike and Sofia inheriting this unpublished manuscript and asked them to finish it. Through their objective, imagined eyes I was able to understand my experiences more fully. Thereafter it was easy to reformulate the manuscript as a novel while retaining its core; the true-life experiences of the author. Necessity is the mother of invention.
